Dawn, we didn't really get to know each other as my daughter started KAS in year 7 just a couple of years before you left. However, in that short time you made a real difference to her life. You had created such a warm and nurturing school community that it was easy for her to feel that KAS was a home from home. These were the perfect conditions for wellbeing and learning. I also want to say that as a deaf woman you were an inspirational role model to my daughter who is also hearing impaired. You looked out for her and she has really thrived at KAS. Thank you for all you gave, you touched so many lives. We are so sad that you are no longer with us and we will never forget you. All our love to your family and close friends X
